Camping at Tinjure will provide you with once in a lifetime experience.  Tinjure hilltop is well known for its amazing sunrise view and stargazing nights. Sunrise through Kanchenjunga will be a jaw dropping one. When the golden rays of the sun start hitting the peaks slowly white turns into golden orange, one by one all the 5 peaks will lit up. From the watchtower at Tinjurey Top you can see a fascinating view of the Gangtok town and Teesta Valley on one side and the towering Kunchenjungha peak on the Northern horizons.One will be having one of the most exciting and heart whelming views of mountains.

To reach this beautiful point one needs to trek , Tinjure Trek is an easy day trek which passes through Fambong Lho wildlife sanctuary. The trek starts from Tinjure base camp (Golitar) which is 30 min drive from Gangtok after breakfast. It takes a few steep climbs in some stresses and covers 5 km in about 3 hrs. The trek goes through the forests of magnolia, maple and pine. The forest is also home to deer and many colorful birds. Enjoy the freshness of the surroundings while proceeding to the highest point at 2433 m (7980 ft) of the sanctuary. The approx height of trek is around 6000 ft. Dinner is served at the campsite at the time of bonfire, enjoy the meal with an amazing view of the sky full of stars. Next morning enjoy the beautiful sunrise followed by morning tea and breakfast and trek back to base camp.

This camping package includes pick up from your Hotel within the city limits and also drop back to the same place next day after coming back from the hilltop. Book this camp  and get the best experience of trekking and camping in Tinjure, Gangtok.

  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.

    One of the kind experience, well-planned from start to end. Our driver was on-time pickup us from the hotel and real-fast dropped us to the base-camp, Our guide was nice to make fun and crack-jokes throughout the journey to make the group enjoy the walk, it was a tiring activity but once reached up to the highest-point was worth it with its mesmerizing-views, We rest the night at the camp with good-accommodation, good-foods along with nice-music and bonfire. Totally-satisfying package.
