Visited by thousands of devotees, the Thirunelli Temple is a place of religion and faith. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, it is known for its unique set of ritual. The Thiruneli Temple is an ancient shrine and the exact year of its establishment is still unknown. This is what gives the cascade the name Meenmutty, which means ‘the place where fish are denied a chance to swim further’
