Chiang Rai weather is quite pleasant almost all year long with the exception of perhaps a couple of months. It is located in the very north of Thailand and is close to the country’s borders with Myanmar and Laos. Chiang Rai temperatures are quite moderate and this is due to it being surrounded by the mountain ranges on its east and west sides.
