Sambhar Bird Sanctuary is not just incredibly rewarding, its a step closer to truly understanding the Indian Wildlife.

The birds can be found in most of the saline ponds that are scattered across the bed of the lake. Sambhar is also a breeding ground for these birds. Birds gather in huge numbers in the centre of the reservoir, shimmering in the haze that plays on the waters. Pelican is another species of birds that one can see at the lake. The beautiful tall birds flock the lake and enjoys the feast of large numbers of algae that swarm the lake.
