Gudavi Bird Sanctuary is supposed to be one of the 5 best sanctuaries of Karnataka and is spread in the .74 km of Bangalore.
The place has nearly 191 species of birds and is surrounded by lots of trees that are a natural shelter to birds. During winters several birds migrate to the Gudavi bird sanctuary for breeding purposes.

One can simply put on walking shoes and trek along the entire place leisurely enjoying the birds and their sights. Look out for the spectacular white-headed crane.
Other species one can expect to find here is pond heron, waterfowl, jungle fowl and the black headed crane.
