Set off on an unforgettable scuba diving adventure at Grande Island, one of Goa's premier dive sites. The experience is carefully curated to ensure safety, fun, and a mesmerizing underwater exploration. Here’s a detailed step-by-step breakdown of what to expect:
1. Pickup & Transportation (7:30 AM - 9:00 AM)
Your day begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Calangute, Baga, Arpora or Candolim. If you’re staying elsewhere, please call in advance to arrange for a pickup. The transfer to the dive center or boat jetty is provided via a non-AC shared coach or car, ensuring a comfortable journey to kickstart your adventure.
2. Boat Ride to Grande Island (9:00 AM - 10:00 AM)
Once you arrive at the jetty, you'll board a fully equipped boat for your ride to Grande Island. The boat is stocked with all the necessary scuba diving kits and safety equipment to ensure you’re fully prepared. During the ride, enjoy light snacks provided by the crew as you take in the scenic beauty of the surrounding coastline.
3. Scuba Diving at Grande Island (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
On reaching Grande Island, the real adventure begins! Each participant will dive into the crystal-clear waters of the Arabian Sea, guided by a professional instructor. Depending on the number of participants, you’ll receive personalized attention from a dedicated instructor. Beginners will have approximately 15-20 minutes of underwater diving time, which is perfect for first-timers. The underwater world at Grande Island is teeming with vibrant marine life, making it an exciting and educational experience.
4. Photos & Videos of Your Dive
Throughout your dive, professional photos and videos will be captured to document your incredible underwater journey. These will be available for download from the company’s Facebook page by the end of the day, allowing you to relive and share the experience with friends and family.
5. Return Journey & Lunch (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM)
After your thrilling dive, you'll return to the boat for the journey back to the jetty and dive center. Once back, enjoy a packed lunch (veg or non-veg), included as part of the package, to replenish your energy after the exciting underwater adventure.

Know Before You Go for Grand Island Scuba Diving
- Grand Island is controlled and operated by the Indian Government. The activities mentioned in the package will be carried out in the vicinity of Grand Island.
- Listen to the instructions by the instructor carefully. Briefing, training & Scuba Diving takes around 20-25 mins.
- First-time divers will be trained for 20 minutes before the dive.
- Visitors aged under 12 years are not allowed to join this activity.
- If you are suffering from any major illness, Asthma, BP, Sinus & patients with heart problems are not eligible to undergo this activity.
- In heavy season dates, suppliers may change pick up and drop locations for smooth transport services of all the guests.
- If travellers are not willing to go for the dive by their own choice, a refund may not be applicable.
- Cleanliness & clarity of the water for scuba diving is subject to real-time conditions, operating staff or Thrillophilia does not have any control over the same.
- In case a traveller is found not fit for diving before or at the time of scuba activity, dive master may not provide him activity.
- This is a group tour & there is a wait time to do the activities based upon the group size on the particular day, travellers may have to wait for their turn.
- Never eat a big meal before diving and wait for at least 2 hours after eating and then go for the Grand Island Goa Scuba Diving.
- During scuba diving in Grande Island Goa, if you spend less time because you're not comfortable in water, the Divemaster may immediately take you out from the water & another chance to dive may not be given.
- Please maintain a friendly environment throughout your activity.
- ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of arrival.
