Maharashtra lies amidst the Western Ghats in India, and it welcomes the rains to the beautiful ranges of the Sahyadris. And one of the most famous location for a group outing in Maharashtra is Lonavala. The Lonavala trekking region sways in profusion of forts, hills, rock-climbing patches, cascading waterfalls, pristine lakes and streams. Trekking tours in Lonavala offer a myriad of trails to be undertaken in the lap of nature’s unruffled beauty still untouched by man.

Located close to the hill station of Lonavala Khandala, Lohagad rises to an elevation of 1,033 meters or 3,389 feet above sea level. It is an easy trek filled with fun and beauty. You will get to see many beautiful things during this trek and after reaching the peak you can see four doors. The first one is called 'Ganesh Darwaaja', the second one is called 'Narayan Darwaja', the third one is called 'Hanuman Darwaaja' & the fourth one is called 'Maha Darwaaja'. Out of this Hanuman Darwaaja is the most ancient of all the doors. This package offers a healthy breakfast and lunch, pickup and drop and expert guides to lead from the front.

Lonavala Lohagad Trek From Pune Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Sunday

    07:00 am : Meet at Café Goodluck (Goodluck chowk)

    The Pickup points will be as follow:

    Shivaji Nagar, Bremen Chowk and Wakad

    09:00 am : Reach Lohagad and have breakfast

    09:30 am : Start trek

    11:00 am : Lohagad Summit Exploration, rest, etc. (2 hrs approx)

    01:30 pm : Start Descend

    03:00 pm : Lunch time

    04:00 pm : Start towards Malavli Station

    05:30 pm : Departure for Pune

I am slow in walking but our guide waited for me while taking my short rest during trekking...On this trek, they provided great meals too...It was enjoyable and very worth it with the view from the top
