The 45 minutes of the safari was killer. A real adventure. I came to know the driver has been doing this for last 10 years. It was evident in his driving style. Smooth, but full of thrill. It is a must do activity in the vast desert of Jaisalmer. The timing was a bit delayed due to exceeding number of people registered for the trip. But the experience was worth waiting.

We explored the Sam village, Bhillo ki Basti which was really beautiful. All this villages is rich in their tradition and culture. Meeting the local people was really great too, they were very friendly as well.

God, I can’t stop talking about the adventure we had. Just came back from Jaisalmer and there we did this thrilling jeep safari activity. I went with my wife and my two children. It’s a good package for all age. Full of excitement I should say.

A must do activity I would say, it just the perfect adventure in desert, The villages, the cultural life of this region will surely touch your hearts. Just be a little careful if you have you kids with you on this tour as they can get bit dizzy.

Great Fun.. though nothing compared to the Dune Bashing that one gets to do in Dubai. The driver and the jeep were good. But we were not happy with the tour operator because they were clearly sub-agents to Thrillophillia and do not have any facilities of their own.

The Experience was nice but costly. Our stay in the camp costed us INR 3000 including dinner, breakfast, camel safari and evening folk dance entertainment. And, this jeep safari of 40 minutes costed us INR 1400 alone. I think its too coslty. It includes bumby ride through the dunes. At one spot, they give a halt. Where you can take photographs. So the actual ride is of only 20 minutes.

This was a super thrilling adventure and felt just like a roller coaster, if not more exciting! We enjoyed a whole lot, as we were driving through the desert, and the driver, Lohit, was actually a very good and experiences driver, and the car was in good condition as well. Don’t miss out on this activity on your visit to Jaisalmer.
