Katoomba is the main centre of Blue Mountains. The distance between Katoomba and Sydney is approximately 120 km. The duration depends on the mode of transport you choose. There are several modes of transport to get to the Blue Mountains from Sydney.
By Train:
There are many trains that take approximately two hours to reach Katoomba. It also connects major stations along the way like Parramatta, Westmead, Springwoodmand Penrith. You can easily get a train as there is a train every hour.
By Car:
You can also reach the Blue Mountains by car as it will take approximately 1 hour 40 minutes drive from Sydney. You can choose the time according to your convenience. We suggest you choose early morning time in order to avoid heavy traffic.
By Bus:
