Visa Requirement

Indians require a Schengen type C visa for a trip to France. For the tourist visa, first, you need to fill out a Schengen Visa Application Form online and schedule your visa appointment. On the day of your appointment, carry your printed Schengen Visa Application Form with the required documents. Some documents required include a passport, both sides of flight tickets, passport-size photographs, and proof of accommodation and financial funds. Once your visa application is approved, you can collect your visa from the application centre. 

The processing time is 15 to 45 business days. The visa validity period is 180 days, and fees differ depending on the age group. There is no fee for children below 6 years. The charge for children between 6 to 11 years is €40 (approximately 3633 INR), and for adults is €80 (approx. 7268 INR).
