Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary is a popular sanctuary in Rajasthan which is situated on one of the oldest mountain ranges of India, the Aravalli Range. Established in 1980, the sanctuary is well known for its biodiversity of flora and also houses the highest peak in Rajasthan, Guru Shikhar.
The sanctuary has over 820 floral species along with a variety of orchids, wild roses and others. The sanctuary is also the home to a variety of animals as well as around 250 species of birds. 2. By Bus: Take a bus to Mount Abu Central Bus Depot which is 34.3 km away from the sanctuary. You can reach the location from the bus depot with a 58-minute travel by car via MDR60
3. By Train: Take a train to Abu Road railway station which is 21.4 km away from the destination. You can reach the wildlife sanctuary from the train station with a 37 min journey by car via Abu Rd - Mount Abu Rd.
4. By Air: Take a flight to Maharana Pratap Airport which is 146.8 km away from the wildlife sanctuary. You will need to journey for 2 hr 33 min by car via NH 27 to reach the place from the airport.
