About the Hampi Trekking:Make your weekend special with this exciting experience of trekking in Hampi and feel the thrill while bouldering there. Enjoy the overnight journey to Hampi in which you would have an informal introduction and have fun.
It is advised that you take some light dinner beforehand since this is an overnight journey to Hampi.
Around 06:00 AM, you will reach the camp-site at Hippie Island from where you will start your Hampi trekking.
Freshen-up and have breakfast.
Start your trek to Hampi waterfalls after crossing Tungabhadra River, between two islands of Hampi via a ferry ride.
The trek would start through the back of the village towards the paddy field on the side of Tungabhadra River. Walking through the uneven surface of the bank, you would enter the banana farm. Afterward, you will trek through the boulders and cross the river.
You will then move towards Virupaksha Temple, followed by a trip to the Vijay Vittala Temple through the Sugreeva Caves.
Following this, you will trek to the banks of the river from there you would take a coracle ride to the other side of the bank.
Hike to Anjaneya Hills for sunset views of the area before descending down and returning to the campsite in the bus after sunset.
Freshen up and explore the Island by yourself in your leisure time.
There are many local places where you can hop from one place to another enjoying live music, jamming, and local cuisine.

After getting up early, freshen up and gear up for bouldering.
Bouldering would be a lot of fun but also a little challenging for first timers, so it is very much required to follow the expert’s advice and guidelines.
After the bouldering, you would be leaving for covering historical monuments like underground Siva temple, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stable, Ranga temple, Puskarni and Queen’s bath.
Return back to the campsite and freshen up for your return journey back to Bangalore.
As you reach Bangalore in the late hours of the evening, the experience of Hampi trekking will come to an end.

What is the best time to visit Hampi?
The best time for Hampi heritage trek is during winters, which is from October to March. The temperature starts dropping from October and the lowest goes around 15 degrees at night. The maximum temperature during winters is 30 degrees which is cool and pleasant.
It is the time when Hampi looks and feels the best. Whereas, the summers are too hot in Hampi. May and June should be avoided if possible. Monsoons which is from July to September is pleasant with low to average rainfall. The entire town comes to life and the temperature is cool throughout the season.
How can I reach Hampi from Bangalore?
We provide the pickup and drop facilities to and from Bangalore for Hampi trekking. Three locations are given from where you can be picked up. You may decide as per your choice and convenience. The transportation costs for both ways is included in your package and no extra cost in chargeable.
What are the pick up and drop points available from Bangalore?
We start our journey for Trek to Hampi heritage Site from Bangalore. We have arranged three pickup locations from where you will be picked. You may select the location out of these three as per your convenience. The first pickup is scheduled around 7:30 PM near Baroda Bank at Koramangala Water Tank. Opp. Mr. Beans – Home Cafe.
The second pickup is around 08:00 PM from New Shanti Sagar Hotel in HAL Road, Near Domlur Bridge. The last pickup is around 9:00 PM, from MG Road, Hard Rock Cafe near Anil Kumble Signal, which marks the beginning of your Hampi Trekking. You will be dropped in the same location after the trek.

The Hampi Heritage Trek is completely safe for the solo and female travellers. We have had many solo and female travellers before who had the most amazing trekking experience with us. We take special care for the safety of the women and solo travellers. Separate accommodation is provided to men and women for their comfort and safety.

During your trekking and Hampi Bouldering expedition, you will be given breakfast for two days and evening snacks. Rest all meals are self-sponsored.

After your layover at the Island, you will begin your trek to Hampi heritage site, and the first thing that you will witness is the Tungabhadra River. It is a crystal clear river which is also a major site in Hampi. Cross the river via a ferry and reach the stunning Hampi Waterfall. It is a series of small whirlpools flowing amid rocks. This place is refreshing and a great place to click some pictures. Relax at Hampi waterfalls sometime before you move ahead with your trek.
You will trek through the paddy fields at the back of the village, located at Tungabhadra River. The sight of the paddy fields is simply beautiful and natural. As you walk, you will cross a banana farm. This place is stunning and smells so good. All the banana lovers are going to love this place. The next attraction that you will see as you move ahead is the famous Virupaksha Temple. It is situated on the bank of River Tungabhadra and is a predominant pilgrimage centre in Hampi.
It is considered to be the holiest and most sacred retreat by people in Karnataka. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Virupaksha Temple is still pristine which stands gloriously amid the other ruins of Hampi. After crossing Virupaksha Temple, you will cross through the Sugreeva Caves to reach Vijay Vittala Temple. Sugreeva Cave was the home to the mythical Monkey Warrior and a great Lord Ram devotee, Sugreeva. This is a natural cave which draws thousands of tourists each year.
Walking through these caves and exploring the mythological eminent place is a great experience. After crossing the caves, you will reach the Vijay Vittala Temple. Next day after bouldering, you will be taken to the other historical monuments in Hampi. The first is the underground Siva Temple. This temple is surrounded by swanky trees which looks amazing. The sanctum of this temple remains submerged in the water, which reaches up to Maha Mandapam during monsoons.
The sight of the temple under water is unbelievable. Next attraction is Lotus Mahal. It is amid the finest architectural palaces which have uniquely designed lotus-like structure. It is located within Zenana Enclosure which was used by the Royal Ladies of Vijayanagara Dynasty. After this, you will see the Elephant Stable which is just outside the Zenana Enclosure. This stable was the shelter home to the Royal elephants. Elephant Stable still looks beautiful as it suffered minimum carnage during the Mughal attack.
After this, visit Ranga Temple which is located within the Royal Centre. The carving of Lord Hanuman on a single slab is the main focus of this place. After this, head towards the Pushkarni in Hampi. It is a delightful place to see which tells a lot about the people during the Vijayanagara Dynasty. Pushkarnis are sacred water tanks which are linked to Temples. Almost all the major Hampi temples have a pushkarni made near them. These sacred tanks played a huge significance in numerous functional and spirituals during that time.

Virupaksha Temple- It is one of the most important restored edifices which is still beautiful and attractive. Visiting it once is important in order to see the grandeur and beautiful architecture of Hindu Dynasty.
Vitthla Temple- It is yet another beautifully ornate structure which represents the extreme beauty of Vijayanagara Temple architecture.
It is a gorgeous temple that is linked with the associated buildings like Utsava Mandapa and Kalyana Mandapa, in close vicinity to the temple. Visiting this temple gives you a chance to explore the religious stature of Hampi in a single place. What is the night stopover option?
For the night stopover during your trek to Hampi heritage site, you will be provided with proper tents at the campsite. These tents are available on double sharing basis. Men and women are given different tents for accommodation.

What are the basic inclusions in the package?
The pickup and drop facilities to and from Bangalore is included in your Hampi heritage trek package. Tents at campsite is provided on double sharing basis. Breakfast on Day 2 and Day 3 is included in the package and mini snacks will be given during the expedition.
All the permits and forest permits will be arranged by us. Experienced guides and trek facilitators will be provided who will accompany you throughout the trek. First-aid kit is arranged in order to cater to any small accidents like cuts, bruises, etc. A bonfire at campsite is also included in the package which will ensure a perfect way to end your day.

These days, coracle boats are more than just fishing boats. Now, it is used by tourists to explore the beautiful beaches and sea. Same can be done in the glittery water of River Tungabhadra. The tourists take coracle ride and have some great time in the middle of the sea. It is truly fun and a memorable ride that will be cherished forever.

Situated on Matanga Hill foothill and just before Virupaksha Temple, Hampi Bazaar is a major tourist attraction in Hampi. An ancient street which stretches over a km, this place has lots of pavilions ruins which speak about the olden times.
