Overview

Brahmagiri trek takes you to one of the highest peaks of the state of Karnataka, lying right on the border that it shares with Kerala. The name 'Brahmagiri' means 'Abode of Lord Brahma', which places this place in high importance. A paradise for all the trekking enthusiasts, Brahmagiri requires quite a lot of strength and will to climb. The view from the top, however, is the best thing about the trek. As you stand at the height of more than 5200 ft above sea level, the colorful valley spreading in front of you will mesmerize you. A sunset from here will totally take your breath away.

And the experience will become even more memorable as you get all the comforts of home during the trip. This is because you will be staying in a homestay which is complete with all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. Also included in the experience are the amazing wine party and a warm campfire.

And just so you don't think that the experience ended with the trek, you will also be getting the opportunity to try your hands at river rafting here. The trip will start from Bangalore and end there as well, with you getting picked up and getting dropped at the same point.

About the Activity:
- You will be getting picked from your choice of point in Bangalore, and transferred on an overnight bus to Brahmagiri.
- After arrival and breakfast, you will start the trek to the top of Brahmagiri, where you will have lunch and spend some time.
- Descend back down to enjoy a wine party and a warm campfire at the homestay.
- You will then be served, post which you can retire for the night. You will wake up to an amazing morning the next day.
- Take a return transfer to Bangalore after breakfast, marking the end of the trip.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Brahmagiri Trek

You will be picked up from your choice of location. Since this will be an overnight journey, it is advised that you take some light dinner.

You will arrive early in the morning at your campsite. Take your breakfast and then start on the trek to reach the top of Brahmagiri.

The trek takes you to the top from where you can see the entirety of Coorg with all of its beauty and coffee plantations.

Trek back down after lunch to enjoy the wine party and warm campfire that awaits you.

Dinner will be served and after that, you can retire for the night.

  • Day 2 - River Rafting | Return

Wake up to a beautiful morning and have your breakfast.

Check-out and leave for your transfer back to Bangalore, bringing the experience to an end.

Hi everyone, this is my 2nd trip with you people and am as happy as the first one. The journey started with unknown place and unknown people, but during the course of the journey we all became friends and the place started feeling like home. I loved the place too with so much of nature and wildlife that once I thought of staying there forever.Trekking was a good adventurous journey with in nature with the irupu falls as a good climax to it. Thank you so much for organizing this trip with so many activities and I am waiting for my next trip with you people.

This is my first trekking trip and the location is apt for a new comer. The feel of both true adventure and exploring nature is well felt. I would advise travellers to pack light for the trek but carry two bottles of water if it's a sunny day. The view from the top is fantastic and during the entire trek we had a nice elevated climb which gave a nice feel of the journey. The organizer had been very good in managing the entire itenerary and also they keep good care of each traveller. I was traveling solo but during the entire journey each of us were nicely introduced. Nagarhole visit was excellent & fortunately we got to see good bunch of wild animals. The sanctuary visit should be done early in the wee hours. I would definitely plan another trek via thrillophlia. Overall, basic accommodation and good food was provided in the trek.

Wonderful, adventurous and exciting trip.Right from the stay, the journey in nature and the food was different than any other trip that i have experienced in my past. Small group contributing to a lot of fun and making the journey memorable. The trek part was good. The rafting was even nicer. It wasn’t very cheap, but I guess it was worth the money spent.

I am so recommending this to people who love to try rafting for the first time. If you think rafting interests you and feeling travelling all the way to Rishikesh is tough, this is a nice one to try for starters. Although, this isn’t as ferocious or furious as the former one, this is definitely good for beginners. Also you get to do a small trek and most amazingly the campfire.

Brahmagiri Trek and Barapole Rafting is a must to take weekend getaway for every Bangalorean. Firstly, this is way close that even the travel isn’t that costly. Also, the place is a traveller’s paradise: more like an adventurer’s paradise. Apart from trek and the rafting, there is also this breathtakingly beautiful falls that is just very spellbounding.

I am so happy to have taken this package. There are a lot of advantages: Firstly, it is very worthy and cheap. All you have to pay extra was the travel to Coorg, which is quite cheap as we live in Bangalore. Also, all the expenses were included so it is like you pay once and aren’t charged often. Secondly, the food was really good and different. Finally, last but not the least, the trek was brilliant and so was rafting. It was one of the best vacations I had. The only problem we had was spotting the meeting spot specified.

We took this trek as a gang of 10 friends. It was totally awesome. While we could have planned this ourselves, all of us were in different cities mostly and we hardly had time to plan. We took this tour pack and it was just worth it. We really enjoyed rafting a lot. I am not a big fan of trek, but most of my friends loved the trek. Also, the food served was typical kannada cusine and we loved it too.

Some of the pros of this trek are that it was nice and moderate level. The trek guide was so friendly and jovial. Some pros of the rafting were that the safety was well ensured. And overall it is brilliant tour to take with friends or family as it offers you both adventure and peace at the same time!
