"One of the best places for camping. You will love the drive to reach this place, those roads!! so beautiful.\nCan't forget the hospitality of the host. Bahaddur, who is working over there and his kids are so much fun to talk. They served delicious authentic madikeri food. walk around the estate, don't worry Bahadur kids can take you there and be such a wonderful company. Bonfire, you get to meet different people from different places, share a drink, exchange of thoughts, what not. Overall its one of the affordable best packages in madikeri."

It was an stunning experience for me as solo traveler. Location is in 16 km cut from Madikeri towards Talakaveri and last 3 km pathway is very much into the forest and you will be enjoying that. Location is untapped by many and road in the last stretch is not so comfortable and that is the beauty of the place. The place is very much into the forest and you wont here any sound other than birds, leaves and wind. No Wifi and Network is very weak and that's exactly what we need when we are in holidays. Temperature is damn low at night and camp fire sets the mood for it to enjoy. Tent sleep is a different experience for me and i am sure it would be the same for all. Water stream flows nearby and we can go and pass time there. Morning, we walked around 2 Km into the forest to see a jungle falls which is icing on the cake. Trekking path is also untouched by many i believe. Also you can coffee estate to walk around. No need to mention that food is very delicious and so are services. On a whole, I am sure it would be a complete package for a camp day or two. if it is Coorg, this should be your stay place. I landed at thrillophilia accidentally and it is a needed one. If i want to say in Rajini style, "Magizhchi"

It was an amazing and adventurous experience. The whole camping area was great with very good homely food. Theexperience staying out there was remarkable. The service people out there are very generous and behaved very humbly. The bathrooms were pretty clean and well maintained with supply of hot water . The best part was bonfire. Truly speaking , it was worth going and staying out there and its one of the best days for us. Thanks Civet Creek Camping Team & Thrillophilia Team for coordinating. Cheers !!! Thanks and Regards, Debasish Nayak

"If you've ever been to a camp, you quite know the drill!\nBut this one is off tracks (in a good way), right from the route one has to take to get to the camp -- to the view one gets from those tents -- the brilliant landscape -- homecooked feel good food -- the numerous options one has to pass time! from TT, badminton, volleyball, cricket to cards! The essentials and minor needs of visitors are taken care in the most adorable way, this makes one's stay even more pleasant.\n\nThe hospitality will blow you away!\n\nThe icing on the cake is the trek and the waterfall ????"

By far the best team outing me and my team had! And this was made possible by Civet Creek team and Thrillophilia. We were a little apprehensive about an over-night camping trip and going to a place with little to no phone signals. Though the checkin could be done by 11, we finally ended up at the place by 2:30pm. The place is tucked away in between coffee plantations. Since we arrived late on day 1 and a few were tired, we skipped the trip to waterfall. And it was hot (March)! We were the only group that day on the property. So we chose the shade of the adjacent tents to play some indoor cricket. Once it cooled a bit, the team had fun over the trampolines, rope walk setup, badminton, cricket and volleyball! There was also a TT table but there was no time! They have everything to keep everyone busy with some activity or the other. Once it became dark, everyone was silent for a while as they didn't know what to do. No mobile signals. That's when the camping started, chit-chatting, playing cards. For those not used to camping, till about 730-8pm, there would be some flies and insects around at this place. We asked Bahadur(the caretaker) to setup the bonfire around which we continued to chit-chat and have some wonderful food prepared by the cook. Simple yet tasty food and starters. We continued to have conversations under the starry skies till about 3am when we finally hit the bed. Each tent has bedding for 2 people which is comfortable and clean. Clean sheets and pillows were provided. The bathrooms too were clean and hot water supply was present round the clock. Need to carry torchlight though. The next morning after morning we went on a nice 30 mins trek which showed us our fitness levels right in our face. Bahadur's 5 year old son was much faster than us on the trek. The trek ended in a beautiful waterfall in a private property. Both the surroundings and the water were extremely clean. After spending a couple of hours there, we headed back to freshen up. Had some lovely lemon juice and left back to Bangalore. Mr.Madappa (the owner) and Bahadur (caretaker) made our stay extremely pleasant with the facilities, food, smiles and going the extra mile. And all this at a price of Rs1500/- per head .....wow!!!! Thank you!!!!

I will recommend the this camp as a ' must do'for anyone who is interested to experience Outdoor camping and has little time available. I had so many positive experiences that it will be difficult for me to write a crisp & yet complete review. I will however give it a try - first & foremost - the support provided by Thrillophilia was excellent - right from the booking stage to the trip confIrmation - it was a smooth experience. The people at the camp - Madappa Ji and Bahadur Bhaiyya were courteous and helpful. The tents and the shacks were nice - well maintained, clean, warm, free of insects & mosquitoes...Nice & light breakfast, lunch and dinner- well-suited for an outdoor camp like this. We had a great time at the waterfall - completely drenched ourselves & just didn't realize how an hour went by :) The coffee estate was lovely- so many trees, plants and shrubs. All in all, the experience is well worth the money and I strongly recommend it to outdoor enthusiasts. Thank you Thrillophilia for connecting people with such lovely experiences !

"it was a peaceful place with wonderful surrounding and nice weather.. the host was very helpful especially the servant named bahadur.. the waterfall tour was great even though it is a bit small but for a group of 5-6 it was good..advice:dont wait for others to come for waterfall trip. if they are not ready by 3 pm then ask for personal trip to waterfall it is 4 km from camp and 2 km walk after that."

First of all it was an hassle free experience on booking through thrillophilia. Arrived to camping site on Saturday morning with family of 4 people. Nice stay, lovely food and services (Bahadur and Madappa) are amazing. We went for trekking in to coffee estate but no water falls available nearby. But you can surely enjoy the birds singing song, food and chillness :)

We were 7 of us, signed up for this camping and we had fun completely. The place was secluded with not even mobile networks; So no watsapping or twittering. The camping place had couple of sports amenities like TT table, small cricket ground, badminton court, so it was engaging and at the same time scenic. The hospitality was above satisfactory. We got a chance to converse with the owners of the place who were in their 70's, extremely down to earth people. This camping trip was worth every penny. A big shout out to Team Thrillophilia.

It was an awesome location to stay. You can spend complete day doing multiple activities like playing cricket, Table tennis, Badminton and several other games. The staff was very helpful and served excellent homely food. We were 10 members celebrating one of our friend bachelor party. Camp fire at night organised separately for each group staying at camp was good. Camping area was clean and well maintained. Bathrooms had hot water facility. Overall experience was awesome and personally I would recommend people to visit and have excellent time with family and friends.

Coorg has always been a favoured destination amid the college folk.. And the town lived up to its reputation when 70 of us availed the services of thrillophilia and visited it in april.. The zip lining was too simple.. Perhaps best only for those who havent done it before.. But the Night trek on Nishani hills was an amazing experience.. One that everyone enjoyed thoroughly.. The guides were really good.. Nd the services as good as can be on hill stations.. The quad biking too is a must for anyone who loves adventure sports..i would like to thank The team at thrillophilia, specially miss parvati, for their organisation and for making this trip memorable for us.. With regards, Vineet Agrawal

It was one of those spontaneous plans that none of us had thought through but thanks to Thrillophilia planning was something we din't really have to think through. All facilities from new bed spreads to hot water for bathing were provided. Coorg is known for its picturesque beauty however Thrillophilia highlighted that beauty for us by giving us a speck and span experience. Few things that i would specifically like to mention are- 1.) The undivided attention that we got from the staff. 2.) All the games facilities that we had,i.e Badminton, throw ball,a trampoline! 3.) Cozy tents. 4.) Good vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. 6.) Mind blowing scenery 7.) Bonfire and waterfall as promised. Me and my group of friends, which also included an international student were very pleased by the home like treatment the staff subjected us to. Without any disturbance we were all able to enjoy the calm and peaceful vacation we had paid for. However, given all i would like to suggest a few improvements: 1.) It gets really cold at night so thicker blankets for those who haven't packed their luggage weather appropriate, would do wonders for the mood. 2.) Since we already paid for the trip it was assumed that charges for traveling organised by the camp was already included. However, to reach the trekking field we had to pay extra. 3.) It would have been perfect if the activities planned for us would have extended over a better part of day two as that was what was expected. Overall, it was one of the most amazing trips I've been to and Thrillophilia made that happen.I will definitely recommend this site to every one so that many people are able to enjoy the wonders of spontaneous planning!

Back to nature, away from the busy cities. If you are looking for luxuries and hi tech activates the cities can offer, then this is not the right place for a short stay. Instead if you love nature, fresh air, a peaceful and relaxed stay, campfire, a huge open lawn with enough games and courts to play, homely food, enough area to roam around the coffee plantations with friendly hosts, and a good night sleep in the tent, then this is the place. I stayed in Camp for two days and one night. One of the activities one can enjoy is trekking through the coffee plantation crossing small streams of water and mild terrain. The hosts are very helpful and take good care of the guests. I saw three families and also very small kids enjoying the stay. The place is suitable for all ages. The tents provided are of decent size and are in good conditions. Clean and comfortable beds with blankets are provided. Bathrooms are clean and enough in number with hot water facility. Nicely prepared homemade food is provided. Over all I enjoyed my stay, and look forward to go back again.

The trip was awesome! We reached around noon, had some good simple food and after resting for 30 minutes or so we were on the field, playing cricket, volleyball, badminton. Enjoyed a lot on the rope walk set up and trampoline. There were enough items to keep one busy in activities rather than seeing their mobiles and laptops. We tried our hands over each of the activities there. At night we had a bonfire under the twinkling stars. In the morning we went to visit a waterfall nearby. Had some fun there in cold clean water. Overall it was a very good experience. Most importantly a thumbs up for the hospitality and cleanliness there.

We had a wonderful team outing here. We were 14 people and there were adequate arrangements of beds, tents and food for us. The property is vast so even a large group like ours had a nice time. They have trampolines, rope nets, badminton area and ample space for us to enjoy some cricket too. Bahadur, the guy taking care of the place, is exceptionally helpful and took great care of us. Bathrooms are maintained properly so is the rest of property. Bonfire in the evening went on till late in the night while Bahadur served us assortment of veg and non-veg snacks till the dinner was served. Overall, the whole team was rejuvenated and very happy we chose this place and that is what matters :)

Okay, to keep it simple, I am going to list down 'Goods' and 'Bads' Goods: 1. Bahadur: I'd like to call him as the Estate Manager, because he does a brilliant job at that. Constantly smiling and working in a 'never say no' manner, he made our trip totally worth it. very polite and helpful. 2. The Food: A decent spread for lunch, evening snacks and dinner. The breakfast could've been slightly better, but we're not complaining really. :) 3. The Waterfall: Very close, just that if you don't have an SUV, you might not be able to make it all the way up. My Suzuki Swift had to be parked about 500m away from the other big ones because the last 100m were too steep for the car. A little bit of a trek, totally worth it. 4. The Tents: Clean, fresh bedsheets, well maintained camping tents 5. The Bathrooms and toilets: 24 by 7 hot water, clean toilets. Just that, we thought the toilets should be cleaned a little more frequently when multiple groups are visiting. 6. Trampolines, Table Tennis, etc. were a lot of fun, we made slo-mo videos and it was niiiiicee! 7. As against the pictures, the tents aren't put up on the ground, rather, they're put in neat and clean shacks, together with water and dust bins. Now, the very few, 'Bads' 1. This doesn't really count as a bad, but we were faced with another group of people, who maybe didn't have 'traveler's taste' and were a little loud and kind of wanted all the food to themselves, lol; however, the management was understanding enough to create separate bonfires for them 2. The Chai: Yes, it is a very important thing for some, me being one of them. But Bahadur realized and made me the chai that I wanted. :D 3. The Location shared by Thrillophilia: Yes, we should've called, but hey, isn't technology there for a reason? We took the google maps link provided by Thrillophilia and ended up in a random place, far away from where we were supposed to, delaying us by 1 hour 30 mins. That's when we called up Shabari's (the owner) father and uncle helped us reach peacefully. All in all, a good trip. There are some things that we can control and some we can't (like who else is staying at the estate when we're there). Must do when here: Spend some time under the stars, when the lights go out. You can't see them from the urban jungles. Must carry: Some food (if you tend to get hungry very often); insect/mosquito repellents (though we barely felt the need). Best thing: very few mobile signals and internet connectivity is also low, for the much needed internet detox :D Thank You team Civet Creek! @Team Thrillophilia: Next time, watch out for the map links please. :)

An exciting and thrilling experience. Civet creek camp is wonderfully located in a coffee estate. Hospitality of the host is commendable. Food is home cooked and tasty. During day time they take us to a private waterfall and coffee estate. In night you can enjoy around bonfire singing and dancing. Toilets are very clean and have hot water supply. Do carry a torch as there is no or very less light in night. I enjoyed a lot and plan to re-visit again. Thanks to thrillophilia for providing genuine camping experience.
