Chanderi Fort Trek From Mumbai Overview

This mighty fort is located near Thane in the Badlapur region, and interestingly, this structure is not really a fort! There are no fortifications at the site, but only water cisterns, rock-cut steps and caves that denote that the historical site is indeed a fort. Chanderi Fort was captured by Shivaji Maharaj from the Mughal Sultanate, and ultimately it went into the hands of the British later on. This fortress is often used as a military base, or a hideout since the path that leads up to it is challenging and tiresome.

Invoke in exciting trekking experience to Chanderi Fort. Reach on your respective pickup points at 5:30 am and start your tour by shared transfer to base village. Relax for a while, freshen up, have your breakfast, and begin your trek after a small introduction session. Enjoy the uphill climb of Chanderi  Trek. Around 1:00 pm we will reach Chanderi Fort, explore the place, its caves  and click photos. We will start descending in a while, after reaching base village around 5:30 pm we will depart for Mumbai.
