It is located 26 km away from the Somwarpet town and is surrounded by the Pushpagiri Hills. The Mallalli Waterfalls is one of the most enchanting falls and descends from an altitude of 1,000 meters above the ground.

As you trace the trekking route, you can come across the lush green plantations and an exotic collection of fauna. The beauty of the fall is just beyond one’s imagination and offers eclection landscapes. Whether you are a nature buff or an adventure junkie, this fall is a great place for you.

2. Iruppu Waterfalls: 



Cascading down from the Brahmagiri peak, the Iruppu Waterfalls is also known as the Lakshmana Tirtha Fall. The name is derived from the tributary of Kaveri and offers a blissful environment.

The waterfall even has spiritual importance and it is considered that the water of the fall is holy. With the onset of monsoons, the water level of the fall rises and the surroundings turn even more green that adds up to its charm. On the route of the falls, you can also witness the Shiva temple that is right on the banks of the river.

4. Burude Falls:

Located right in the center of the Western Ghats, the Burude Falls is known for its breathtaking beauty. From all the corners it is surrounded by lush green blankets and is settled about 20 km away from Siddapur.

If you are looking for an arduous trail, the Burude Falls pathways are the right pick for you as it boasts with gallons of water and rugged terrains. Also, the waterfall is known as  Illimani falls as it is a formation of the rivulet that is named as Illimane. The waterfall has five different levels and each one of them is striking white!

5. Chelavara Falls: 



One of the most magical waterfalls in Coorg is the Chelavara Falls that gushes down from an elevation of 150 feet above the ground and becomes sparkling with the onset of showers. It drops down from a rock that is in the shape of a tortoise and hence is even called the “tortoise rock” locally.

The fall comes over from the tributary of the River Kaveri that flows from the Chelavara village and looks the best in the rainy season. With the showers, the charm of the waterfall multiplies and becomes even more wonderful with the increased water levels. It is surrounded by lush green plantations and is a delightful place for nature enthusiasts.
