The Submarine Museum of Vizag is a submarine itself – the INS Kurusura. This Kalvari class submarine of the Indian navy was once operated on both diesel and electricity. A part of two Buddhist rock-cut caves situated on adjacent hillocks, Bojjanakonda is a religiously, culturally and historically significant site in the city of Vizag.Sankaram, a village located near the site acts as the gateway of entrance to these rock cut caves.
