  • Meet your fellow travelers at Fergusson College main gate around 10:00 PM on the starting night and take an overnight journey.
  • This trip is for for 2 days and 1 night and get away from all hustles and bustles during this Christmas vacation and just be close to nature.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 -

    Meet your fellow travellers at the main gate of Fergusson College, Pune around 10:00 PM on 23rd December, 2016.

    Start the overnight journey in a private bus around 10:30 PM.

    You will reach Lonar around 06:00 AM and have tea later.

    After some time, have breakfast and check-in to your rooms and get settled.

    Listen to the briefing about the activity which will be followed by discussion and presentation about the location and its formation.

    Post lunch, start treading along the trails to Lonar crater.

    Spend some good time there experiencing a wonderful climate.

    At night gaze at the stars which is the must do activity and why Lonar is quite famous among Astronomical experts.

    Get back to your room and take rest.

  • Day 2 -

    Around 09:30 AM, the session for the day starts.

    Take part in another round of discussion.

    After lunch, pack your bags and depart to Pune around 02:00 PM.

    You will reach Pune by 10:00 PM and the tour ends here.
