How To Reach

By Metro: You can take the metro lines L1 and L3 and disembark at the Plaça Espanya station. From here you can reach your destination on foot in about 10 minutes

By Bus: You can also go for the several bus services that ply from different parts of the city such as Bus numbers 13, 23, and 150 which stop directly outside Poble Espanyol

You can also opt for the Hop on Hop off Barcelona Bus service that stops at Poble Espanyol.

Best Time To Visit

The best time of the day to visit Poble Espanyol is in the morning hours around 10 AM as soon as the gates open for visitors. This is when you will encounter the least amount of crowds here and thus can explore the village in relative peace and quiet. Moreover, the weather is also relatively cooler and pleasant during this time making it ideal for the long hours outdoors. 

The best time of the year to visit the museum is in the winter season from December to February when the weather is cool and perfect for spending long hours outdoors.

Get enchanted by the richness of art and architecture with 117 life-sized replicas of famous Spanish buildings. It covers styles from different parts of the country ranging from Romanesque to Baroque. The Albarracín is one of the most famous attractions at the museum representing the famous Sierra de Albarracín región. Declared as a National Historic-Artistic Site, this is one of the most picturesque villages in the entire country.

The Alquezar is another important feature here that imitates an important area in the Aragonese municipality of the province of Osca. The replica has been beautifully created keeping in mind the smallest details of the Historic-Artistic Heritage Site.

Aranda de Duero is a life sized structure imitates the building from the province of Burgos, in Castile and León and is known in history as the seat of the Council of Aranda. The edifice is also famous for housing the oldest urban map of the country.

Located in the Cinco Villas region of Zaragoza, Arcos de la Lonjais a famous village known for being the filming location of Berlanga's film, La Vaquilla. It features interesting aspects such as the Palau dels Sada, mediaeval fish market, and the castle.
