Hantana Mountain Trekking Tour Overview

Trip Location: Kandy

Enjoy a relaxing hike up the Hanthana Mountain Range on this guided nature excursion from Kandy. Enjoy a pre-climb breakfast at the foot of the hill, plus a picnic lunch at the top. Tours include a hands-on trekking instructor and hotel pick-up and drop-off by Tuk-Tuk. 

About the tour:
-You will be picked up from your hotel via tuk-tuk and drive to Hatarekanuwa.
-As you reach there, you will meet with your trekking guide who will give you a brief of the hike. Before starting the hike, savor your breakfast at the bottom of the mountain.
-Start hiking with your guide and reach the peak. When you reach the top, relax for some time on the top. 
-Start your hill walk and reach the Hantana No 1. there you can have your packed lunch and do photography while enjoying the surrounding view.
-Heading back to Hatarekanuwa and as the tour concludes, you will be dropped off to your hotel.

  • Day 1 -

    7:00 am: Depart from Kandy by Tuk Tuk, a Typical transport Mode in Asia.

    7:45 am: Reaching to Hatarekanuwa and your guide will give you a briefing of the Hike.

    8:00 am: Having breakfast at the bottom of the mountain.

    8:30 am: Start hiking.

    9:30 am: Reaching to Peak & Relaxing time on the top of the Mountain.

    9:40 am: Start hill walk.

    12:30 pm: Reaching to the Hantana No 1. there you can have your packed lunch and do photography while enjoying the surrounding view.

    01:30 pm: Heading back to Hatarekanuwa.

    04:00 pm: Arrive back to your Hotel by Tuk Tuk.
