Know Before You Go for Catacombs Skip-the-Line Tickets

  • Bring the ticket voucher along with a valid photo ID proof such as your passport copy.
  • People with reduced mobility, suffering from heart or respiratory failure, have sensitivity or claustrophobia, and pregnant women are strongly recommended NOT to visit.
  • It is forbidden to eat, drink, bring in alcohol, or smoke inside the catacombs.
  • The average temperature is 14°C underground, so make sure you are dressed appropriately.
  • Animals are not allowed in the Catacombs of Paris.
  • Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • It is forbidden to touch the bones as they are fragile.
  • It is not allowed to enter the site with a suitcase, a large bag or a motorcycle helmet. Only bags measuring 40x30x20 cm are authorised. They must be worn in front or in the hand.
  • Photography for personal use is allowed. Tripods are not allowed.
  • Specially-abled people with one companion can enter free of cost but an admission ticket shall be taken. They may be asked to provide relevant documentation for proof of eligibility.
