Overview

Corbett tiger reserve, as well as the landscape forests around it, have amply proved to be the model for tiger conservation in the entire distribution range of the species. The tourism zones within the reserve have the highest tiger density among all the tiger reserves in India as well as other regions in south-east Asia.  The guided experience at this stay offers an enlightening visit to some of the hot spots of tiger conservation besides a plethora of other wilderness associated with the tiger along with one of the richest diversities of avifauna, habitats and changing landscapes.

Factual Information:
The Ranger at the Lodge has endeavored for more than two decades to save the tiger for the betterment of humanity by gaining the topical degrees in Wildlife ecology, biology, management and human interspersion in wildlife conservation and then finally sticking to the fact that wildlife tourism is the best tool to save the tiger in a democratic and developing country.  Hence, he has opened the doors of his own house for wildlife enthusiasts, bird watchers, landscape photographers as well as nature lovers. The itinerary endeavors to impart knowledge on tiger tracking in the natural habitat of tiger thereby making one see & believe the tiger sighting at 200-300% compared to a safari park with just 100% sighting. The itinerary also inculcates an interest in bird watching, which once becomes a habit then proves to be one of the best stress relievers. Both the nights at the Lodge with two Jungle safaris in two tourism zones of Corbett besides evening sessions with the ranger open up a discussion on the complicated web of tigers & human beings as the direct beneficiary of tiger conservation in their naturally evolved bio-diverse forests.
