The starting milestone of this trekking journey took us to the Deoria Tal, where we totally enjoyed and relished the charming beauty of Deoria Tal Lake while standing at 2438 m. This view is from the Chaukhamba Peak; this is where we captured the stunning and gorgeous views of the Deoria Tal Lake and its pristine, clear, and mirror-like waters. The trek trail leading to Chopta from here is completely enveloped in the lush, posh green meadows. This is such a beautiful sight to see. From there we reached the Tungnath temple, the highest shrine of Shiva in the world.

Deoria Tal and Chandrashila Trek with Chopta is a short trek up to the most spellbinding peaks in Garhwal district. This trek is something that is truly enjoyable. After few kms of walk to Tungnath, we proceeded forward with the trek. This is my favourite Himalayan trek because you get to see the beauty of the sunset in the most inexplicable way possible here. This is sheer brilliance and stunning thing ever in the world.

The place is amazing. I trekked Deoria Tal in February 2015. It was snowing all around, surrounding was chilly, but the experience was mind blowing. My experience of the place http://www.budgetyatri.com/2015/03/6-days-of-winter-in-himalayas-solo-2015_49.html

The Deoria Tal and Chandrashila Trek that I had gone to with my club members was truly majestic. The Himalayas has always been very close to my heart. From lush green meadows and verdant slopes to snow topped peaks, the jorney from Deoria Tal to Chandrashila has it all rolled up its sleeves. I was amazed at the variety that this place packs. The moss green trails which we took to go the distance actually make you think you are in an adventure movie. I am not a bird lover but I was thrilled to see so many birds of different origins nestle in this region. This is definitely worth a revisit!

It is a short trek but not an easy one. Would recommend that you take good quality shoes and warm clothes as it is extremely chilling there. The arrangements were perfect and the instructors were taking our good care. Thanks to organisers for such an amazing experience.

Had an amazing time as I had gone with my college friends each of whom had memories to take back. However, please ensure that you exercise adequately and reduce smoking and all before the trek as your exhaustion could take a toll on you otherwise

Deoria Tal is really beautiful place, you can relish the charming beauty of the lake there, Moreover the Chandrashila Trekking was full of fun and adventure. This was my second Himalayan trek and I am getting addicted to Himalayas. I went with my other 2 friends and there some other members in the group. We made lot of new friends on this trek. Camping and food arrangement was very good. It was very cold there so make sure you carry good woolen clothes and trekking shoes.

It was my first trekking experience ever and I enjoyed it a lot. Only thing which can be improve is food quality which was average. Best was camping in nowhere and bonfire in the night. I had seen lot of different varieties of birds on this. My special thanks to our trek guide who guided us very patiently through out the trek as most us novice trekkers.

It was a very nice experience for us , especially when we at the chaukhamba peak where we captured gorgeous views of the Deoria Tal Lake and its mirror-like waters. Make sure you carry extra memory cards as you won't be able to control yourself from capturing beautiful landscapes. One point of advice carry power bank for charging your phones and mobile connectivity is not very good on this trek.

Trekking in chandrashila was too difficult for me at the beginning, but thanks to our tour guide, their instruction made it easy. The Deoria Tal has an elegant lake which looks wonderful as located in the nature's lap.

The food was not so tasty and the lack of cellular networks when we reached the Deoria Tal point was quite dissapointing for me.

A great experience but it could have been better in terms of rest stops and accommodations offered! We were disappointed by the state of tents we were given.
