A big up for this trek. Had awesome and amazing moments especially on the second, third and fourth day as we were trekking to Deorital, Chopta and finally to Chandrashila peak. The hike part was not so hard except the second and fourth day. In fact these two days had the longest trek duration. But as already mentioned, you will definitely enjoy the whole trek.

It was indeed a feat for me to complete the Chandrashila trek. From the arrangements to the trek, everything were so passionately arranged by the team. After starting with the trek, there were only and only the Garhwal Himalayas and their magical beauty. As trekking enthusiasts, we completely loved this trek and experienced a sense of accomplishment as we got to trek upon mountains that had temperatures below 12 degrees Celsius. The climatic conditions may seem to be harsh but the beauty associated with this place cannot be explained. loved the way in which the trek tour is designed.

Among all the days, the fourth day was a bit challenging as we were advancing towards Chandrashila Peak early in the morning. Our trek guides told us, once the sun rises the snow begins to melt and makes it more challenging to trek through them. Other than this, every day we trekked for around 3-4 hours (average) and made our way all through Deori tal and Chandrachila trek. Spend great time amidst the Himalayas, got to enjoy great views and lot more.

It was a medium level trek to Deorital and Chandrashila peak. I believe almost all the trekkers can take up this trek if they want to enjoy the true beauty of the Garhwal Himalayas. Also as it is a short one an extremely easy to book, I would personally recommend this for all.

Before you join this amazing Deori Tal and Chandrashila trek, please ensure that you have the required fitness level. The fall in the temperature and greater height got me agitated on the 3rd day. However, our extremely friendly and helpful organisers did their best to get me back on the trek and I successfully completed the rest of it. Also, do a bit of research on the packing stuff.
