If you are in search of untouched grandeur of Mother Nature, the Tuting valley in the Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh is one of the most ideal destinations for you. Located at an altitude of 530-meters of mid sea level, it is one of the remotest towns in India. The natural beauty is virginal with plenty of flora and fauna especially different varieties of orchids are found in abundance.
What works well for this place is there are almost no hotels here hence the entire valley is relatively untouched by tourists, making the entire experience magical. The best option for stay here is a government bungalow owned by the Public Works Dept of the Arunachal Pradesh government. The view around is exhilarating with snow clad mountains and orchid plantation in the valleys; so it is nature at its best everywhere you set your eyes.
Tuting is home to a newly built Buddhist temple, which is a must visit as the chants of the Buddhist Monks offers the perfect peace of mind. These valleys are perfect for trekking, hiking and camping and getting close to the rustic nature.
The biggest problem is the transport service in the state as there are no railways and most of the roads in the state have poor connectivity. Most of the rail and air travel is done through the state of Assam, which is connected by road to most part of the state.
