The palace is built out of red sandstone and showcases splendid specimens of intricate carving on the pillars, screens and Jharokhas. A part of the hotel is now being used as a heritage hotel.
Another major attraction of Gajner is the Lalgarh Palace. The Lalgarh Palace is a fine example of intricate architectural patterns and has been built by blending European architectural style with the Indo-Saracen style. The palace was built for Maharaja Ganga Singh. He named it after his father Maharaja Lall Singh. Two wings of the hotel are now being run as a heritage hotel by Maharaja Ganga Singh’s daughter Princess Rajyashree Kumari.
The Gajner Wildlife Sanctuary is a major attraction for wildlife lovers all over the country and the world. It is situated at a distance of 32 kilometers from Bikaner. The sanctuary was used as a hunting ground by the Maharaja of Bikaner. The site is being proposed for the reintroduction of Cheetah in India.
