Everything was absolutely perfect at the trek. My only concern is that thrillophilia doesn't give a confirmation mail or call even before 5 hours of the trek. We didn't receive a confirmation untill 4 hrs before leaving for trek. We eventually got annoyed and asked for a refund, that's when i got a call from concerned person about the confirmation of my batch. Other than that, everything was well managed and trek leader was also very helpful.

I have been to Ratangadh many times and it always has offered a different experience. Be it monsoon, winter or summer, this trek in the Sahyadris never disappoints. it is enjoyed best in monsoon.

Good place to visit, you can try for tracking also, also can check for one night stay at top of the mountain fort it is relay exciting. One suggestion, have a visit to fort in winters or rainy season to see the nature close to you.

Its our 4th trekk on ratangadh. And still not explore everything and wants to explore again and again. Its my favourite cause its untouched. Not many trekkers know abt this. Peaceful, calm and very very natural. The forest is very dense and we come to know that 12 tigers r there in vast jungle. Not to worry because till no accidents had happened due to wild life. Anybody can trekk on this fort as it is easy to climb. guide is essential for first visit. Private vehicle will be need as ratangadh is 15 kms from bhandardara. Minimum 5 peoples should be in a group. Very good thing is there is fresh cooked food on the top of the fort made by locals... Read More

The road is scenic with lush green mountains and lot of streams. In rainy season, you might get to see lots of waterfall as well. One of the best season to visit Ratangad Fort. You should take at least couple of breaks on the road and enjoy beauty of nature. The nature is almost virgin with few paddy farms here and there.
