Amazing trekking experience - Ratnagad fort is just amazing and I would suggest people to take this trek during summers as the entire hill is covered with wild flowers. Had a great experience. Just loved the trekking experience.

we visited ratangadh in monsoon, and trust me its a best time to go. its beautiful, the valley view from the top and the dense forest will entrail you. the place is magneficient and very close to mumbai. you get to see some beautiful peaks from top. this place is also not that crowded and you will actually see proper trekkers coming. we also camped on the top and the morning was just beautiful, the clouds below you and the sorrounding will really cherish the moment. you should all go if you get a chance.

This was my third time to Ratangad, no matter how many time I trek here, this place always mesmerizes me with something new and beautiful. Make sure you get to the top above the needle hole which is the true top. Also the view towards Katra is amazing. I have done more than 20 forts in Sahyadris and this one ranks one of the top in terms of views.

one of the best trek I explored in Sayadri, I went there with some solo trekkers from Mumbai. We start journey in the night and by 5:00am we reach Ratanwadi small village on the foothills of Ratangarh fort. We saw some great views over the top of Ratangarh Fort.

The road is scenic with lush green mountains and lot of streams. In rainy season, you might get to see lots of waterfall as well. One of the best season to visit Ratangad Fort. You should take at least couple of breaks on the road and enjoy beauty of nature. The nature is almost virgin with few paddy farms here and there.

Its our 4th trekk on ratangadh. And still not explore everything and wants to explore again and again. Its my favourite cause its untouched. Not many trekkers know abt this. Peaceful, calm and very very natural. The forest is very dense and we come to know that 12 tigers r there in vast jungle. Not to worry because till no accidents had happened due to wild life. Anybody can trekk on this fort as it is easy to climb. guide is essential for first visit. Private vehicle will be need as ratangadh is 15 kms from bhandardara. Minimum 5 peoples should be in a group. Very good thing is there is fresh cooked food on the top of the fort made by locals mainly on saturday and sunday. Try this trekk once and live ur dream.
