Imagine driving down the road and the road disappears in front of you. Scary right? But this happens every day in France. This unique road which connects the Gulf of Burnёf with the island of Noirmoutier, Passage du Gois is considered as an extremely dangerous road. Each day for twice this 2.58-mile long road disappears 13 ft under water.

Due to the high tide, you won’t be able to make out the road. You might cheat the tide sometimes but if not then there are rescue towers where the people can take shelter till they are rescued. So folks dare to take this road.

Let’s take a look at this unique road.
