Located near Darjeeling the stay is an eco-friendly stay built right in between the small forest area just outside of Kurseong town. It offers a cluster of 4 pinewood cottages, each with an attached washroom and a fireplace for a cosy and comfortable stay. At various points, one gets to see a view of the majestic Kanchenjunga and from
time to time, one can hear the whistle of the famous toy train of
Darjeeling as it chugs by the rail line on the slope close to the
cottages.
Kuseong is a famous tourist place, where even Guru Rabindranath Tagore composed some of their songs and poems. A guided Hike to Eagle's Crag point in Kurseong is not something to miss by an outdoor enthusiast. It is the highest point in the town from where one can enjoy the panoramic view of Siliguri plains and hills. On the hike, the narrow, steep roads with water lines crossing them are quite exciting. Reaching the Eagle’s Crag Point, the view of the Kanchenjunga from the tower is stupendous. In the evening, one can just sit at the place, witness the magical sunset, and watch the evening lights of Siliguri town.
At the stay, guests can simply o on a jungle walk in the pine forest and enjoy being in nature. Kurseong is known as the land of white orchids. Guests can also visit some of the British-era tea gardens nearby. Later, guests can spend the cold evening by the fireplace with friends/family.
How to reach:
The stay is around 34 km from Siliguri near the national highway to Darjeeling. Guests can easily reach the stay using any private or public transportation.
