About the Kafni Glacier Trek, Uttarakhand:

The Kafni Glacier trek lies on the same route as that of Pindari and Sunderganga but it deviates near the end of the route and as it reaches the Kafni Glacier. This glacier can be reached both from Almora as well as Kathgodam depending on the route chosen. The common beginning point for both these routes is in Bageshwar. The trek starts from Loharkhet and turns to Dhakuri which is a gentle incline that leads to Khati. From here trekkers pass through several quaint villages before reaching Khatiya. The best part about this trek is that it passes through more regions which include Loharkhet, Phurkia, Diwali and then Kafni Glacier.

Kafni, though a small glacier, is very well-liked by the trekkers and adventure lovers. You will come across multi-coloured high altitude flowers like that of Rhododendrons, that will make your journey to this icy paradise an unforgettable experience. Kafni also gives way to magnificent views of Himalayan Treks like Nandakot (6,860 m) and Nandabhnar (6,236 m).

As a part of daily hygiene protocol, proper care of hygiene and sanitation is maintained all through to ensure utmost care and personal safety of the guests.
