Waking up early in the morning relish a delicious breakfast and embark on an enthralling drive to Joshimath or the winter abode of Lord Badrinath. On your way, you will be visiting Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag and Nandprayag. Arriving Joshimath by evening, check-in into a hotel and retire for the day after enjoying a documentary film on the Valley of Flowers.
13km Trek, Riverside Trekking, Waterfalls
Following today's breakfast and a short drive to Govindghat (1,828m); a popular pilgrimage for the Hindu devotees, begin with your trekking quest to the enchanting Valley of Flowers. From Govindghat, start ascending towards Ghangria; also known as Govind Dham, and follow the river trails that are adorned with scenic waterfalls and lush greeneries. Arriving at the Ghangria campsite, retire for the day with an overnight stay.
5km Trek (Each Way), Valley of Flowers
Waking up in the morning, pump up yourself as today you will be trekking to the Valley of Flowers! Following breakfast in the Ghangria campsite, embark on a 5km delightful trek to the Valley of Flowers. Arriving at the valley, gaze through its enchanting beauty and romance the various colours of the nature; an opportunity to be a shutterbug for the day! Spend amazing moments discovering the bright and appealing flowers in the valley before you start descending down to the Ghangria campsite for an overnight stay.
6km Hemkund Trek (Each Way), Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara & Lake, Hathi Parvat, Saptarshi Peak
An early morning trek will take you to the pious Hemkund Sahib (4,329m), one of the sacred places for the Sikhs and the highest Gurudwara in the world. Arrive at the religious spot and gasp in the alluring beauty of the Hemkund Sahib Lake that remains frozen during the winters. Enjoy the reflections of the surrounding glaciers on the azure water of the lake that is fed by the Hathi Parvat and Saptarshi glaciers. Come evening, start trekking back to Ghangria campsite for an overnight stay.
14km Trek, Badrinath,Trek Ends Here
Today's trek will be the last leg of this amazing trek. Starting from the Ghangria camp, this part of the trek will take you back to Govindghat. Following your arrival here, take a drive through the scenic routes of Badrinath and finally arrive in Joshimath; overnight stay will be in a hotel.
