Best Adventure Tours in Himalayas

The sound of the Himalayas is like a spiritual call, where the devotees of the mountains dream to complete their pilgrim to the highest peak on mother earth, The Everest. Uniting five Asian countries together with the Himalaya gloriously stretches over the Pakistan in the west, through India, Nepal, Bhutan and ends in the east with China. This gigantic beauty of nature also beholds the glaciers of many holy rivers like Ganga, Parvati, and Mandakini and so on, flowing through these countries connected to the range. Nepal is the closest reach to the Himalayas and is the home to Mt. Everest.

We all know that climbing The Everest is no layman’s joke. Many mountaineering devotees have lost their lives while living their dream climb. Many have also collapsed midway and had to retrieve back to their base camps due to medical emergencies. For laymen like us, who are aspiring to make that climb someday have many treks to conquer before that as a practice run. The foothills and the surrounding areas of the Himalayan range is one of the best regions to prep ourselves. There is no end to the number of passes and trails and with varied weather conditions.

More than the hardships of these adventure tours in the Himalayas, it is the breathtaking views resonating the charism of nature that leaves us spellbound. The villages in those mountain ranges rich with the culture of Buddhism and the modest livelihood among the people appreciating the simple joys of life are the many life-changing experiences one will encounter during their travel here. Thrillophilia.com has been making dreams come true for years. Their Adventurous Himalayan tour packages have brought motivation among the newly travel-love-struck crowd to take the plunge and visit the heavenly area to experience for themselves what they have only heard and imagined for years.

30 July 2017

My spouse and I, signed up for this Trek during July 16’ 2017. This is our first trek and experience of the Himalayas. While I agree that I did get carried away by the images on the site, but apparently the valley is not always in full bloom. There are meadows with variety of flowers but if you go with the pictures in the site, you would be a bit disappointed. Instead I would recommend you carry the expectation to view green meadows as far as your eyes can see, with patches of purple, blue, red, pink flowers across and occasionally streams flowing in your pathway. Yes, you can drink water from these fresh water mountain stream! Is’nt this an amazing experience! ? ? I just loved every bit of this trek, starting from the Trek Leaders obsession to ensure we are all fit and fine, the small Ghangharia village which bustles with life only during the season of June – Oct, occasional small pitstops selling hot chai and maggi enroute the trek, the glaciers that we got a chance to see and step on, the never ending view of mountains, the beautiful flora (pics inset), the still ‘reflection’ lake atop the Hemkund Sahib, a helicopter ride (my bucket list) , Badrinath, a chance to visit the last village of the Indian Territory – Mana (wow!!), and last but not the least, have hot chai from the last teashop of the Indian Territory. I never expected to get the opportunity to see this village nor interact with the people there. Thank you so much to the Trek Organizers. Overall we did ~47 km of trek on this rugged terrain with steep ascents. We never expected that we could push ourselves so much, but Himalayan range is so magical and serene that you end up getting your strength from nature to push yourselves. I would highly recommend folks to take one chance to visit this land of the mystics! It is a life time experience!

My friend and I were very bored in life and looking for some adventure. Then she came across this Markha Valley Trek on this website and since both were reasonably fit, we thought we should do it. The entire trek from reaching Gandala La and Kongmaru La pass to interacting with the Markha village people and witnessing beauty we never though existed was an eye-opening experience.

You simply cannot imagine landing up on a place that seems like a fairly land. To my wonder, this came true on the fourth day of our Valley of Flowers trek in Uttaranchal. Loved each & every bit of the trek. There are several packages for this trek, but I would recommend the 6 days’ package. It is easy, short and equally beautiful.

We usually relate the Himalayas with high peaks, snows, glaciers and lot of other things. But if you join this trek, you will get to discover the colourful side of this great mountain range. The valley was so filled with different colourful flowers and appeared like someone has painted them with so many colours.

Why don't I just move to the mountains already? The peace we work for our whole lives, without finding it, is up there. This valley is off the hook; what meets the eyes in this valley is just so soothing and inviting and so not earthly. This is going to be one of my favourite holiday destinations of all time.

I never knew such a place existed out of fairytales, until I took in every speck of beauty the valley of flowers had in store. Indegenous flora, sweet chirping of birds, misty weather, clean, cold streams gurgling amidst rocks. One will be concinved, for sure, they're dreaming all this.

If I have to describe this trek in one word, I will say 'wow'. Really, one of its own kind, we started from Leh and also got enough time to explore Leh. Zingchen, Rumbak Village, the monasteries, GandaLa, Shingo Village, Markha Valley, etc. were the best parts of this awesome trek.
