Char Bhinti is the most significant and widely known historical place in the Satara region. King Chhatrapati Pratapsinh built this place in the year 1830. This place was built to keep a watch over the attackers, as the place enables you to watch the entire city of Satara.
Char Bhinti reminds of various freedom fighters and the country’s queens and kings who ruled back then in the 1850s. Later, in 2001 the place was completely renovated and made more attractive for the visitors.
