Three beautiful trekking desinations, all located at the same point including the Kalpeshwar, Rudranath And Tunganath Trek. These three trekking point falls in the Garhwal region. the region is enriched with dense forests and is home to many wild animals as well. I had a strong desire to visit these sacred places which is also considered as the pious panch kedars and is favourite destination of the Hindu devotees.

Visiting Kalpeshwar, Tunganatn and Rudranath was an awesome experience with my friends. Trekking in Kalpeshwar was though since the trials are not stiff and rocky. And Rudranath lies in the lap of jungle. Rudranath in hindi means lord shiva, and here lord shiv is worshiped as Neelkanth Mahadev, one of the most visited pilgrims of india. I loved the temple which was very well managed and decorated as well. Behind the temple there are three beautiful mountains namely Trishul, Nanda Devi, NandaGhunti. These mountains were half snow covered so looks even more enchanting. Just beside the temple there lies a small stream of river Vaitarini, actually considered to be sacred water. I was very much impressed by the location. There are pools which surrounds the temple where the devotees generally go for some rituals includine the Manaskund, Chanra kund, Tara Kund, and Surya kund. Each of these pools are aving its own mythological importance.

Trekking on pilgrim city was a great thing for us. We started from Rishikesh and passing the short campsites like Pipalkoti and Salna we reached to Kalpeshwar. It was a long trek so we had arranged everything with us and moreover there was a local guide who kept telling about the locations in advance which actually made me curious to see the tempes and kund. The Lord Shiva Temple is inside the cave and worshipers generally go inside it to worship, which actually considered to be very sacred thing. as sight seeing you can also visit the nearby places like Salna Village. As a whole it was a fantastic journey.

Wao it was a great trekking experience in himalayn mountains, The journey starts from Rishikesh which it self is a holy city were people from all over the country come to worship. Our trekking point was kalpeshwar, rudranath and tunganath where we realized that trekking was not only easier but also had many other locations to explore. Talking about the region then it falls in the gharwar region and the site has dense vegetaion. The treeking trails are eaasy and hard at different locations. After completing trekking you can also visit temples. There are many restaurants offering all vegetarian and non vegetarian food items. Over all it a lovely place!!!

Well We had a great long holiday in the himalayan peaks with the beautiful locations. I loved my trekking part between Panar to Rudranath , it was on the height of 3300 metres and merely took about five hours to complete, neither easy norhard. On reaching Rudranath we worshipped lord shiva and also went to see the kunds generally known to be a holy pond like the surya kund, manas kund and chandra kund. Next morning when we had enough time we decided to visit some peaks like Nanda Devi, Dunagiri, and Trishul. Rudranath is awesome site with breath taking views .

Our trekking journey started from the holy pilgramge Rishikesh to reach our favorite destination at Kalpeshwar, Rudranath and Tungnath. While trekking we crossed the dense and rich vegetation of of pine trees , rhododendron and oak trees. The air remains chilled in the entire region and apart from trekking, sightseeing can be a great fun. It is to be noted that trekking in these three mountain trails will actually test your physical stamina and you might get tired of trekking sometimes.

Wao Completely out of the box experience!!! Trekking on three most sacred pilgrim mountains was actually a complete package for us, the trekking adventure lasted for twelve days. The trekking trails are hard and generally not suitable for beginners and apart from trekking sight seeing and temple visiting is of great fun. First the Kalpeshwar is an interesting place to spend some quality time . The belief is that this miracle tree can fulfill all wishes. The temple lies in a cave where lord Shiva is worshiped. Kalpeshwar is a beautiful place surrounded by dense vegetation, and so is other two peaks.

I find kalpeshwar to be an ideal trekking cum camping location . even there are many hotels and guest houses that offers good staying facilities with food also and that too in quite a nominal charges. well due to lack of time we could not embark on the tunganath trails but it was a nice trekking point. The entire gharwal region was crowded by tourists and hindu devotees. If you also love trekking then kalpeshwar trek is for you guys...

Klapeshwar and Rudranath is a beautiful site, has lot of beautiful attractions . Whereas tunganath is perfectly suitable for trekking only. these three mountains are a gift to the tourists since apart from trekking, camping and sight seeing you can also visit the sacred temples as it is a hindu pilgrimage destination. People from all over the country come here to awaken the spirutuality among them. The accomodation is also nice and if you want quality food then the restuarants are there for your service.

Kalpeshwar and Rudranath were a great trekking point, and for an avid trekkers like me, it is perfect. The trails are rocky and lies amid of the thick woods. It feels exciting to trek at an altitude of 2500 meters. Tunganath is also a nice point but religious importance is more on that place. In this long trekking journey you will get plenty of things to discover and visit including the lord shiva temples, holy pools called kund, small river streams and waterfall, temples in cave, Nanda devi hills, beautiful greenery etc. Just an Awesome trip.
