Black Forest Camping Kodaikanal Overview

Camping Location: Poondi, Kodaikanal

Check-out: 10:00 AM

Poondi is situated at a distance of 39km from Kodai-Munnar road which is home to breathtaking views, lush green forests and scenic high waterfalls, homemade chocolates, eucalyptus trees and much more. With pleasant weather throughout the year, the place offers a lot to explore in every season.

Once you reach the campsite, we’ll serve you with a coffee followed by a refreshing boating experience in the lake. After exploring the campsite, proceed to the bonfire and BBQ dinner venue with some refreshing music beats. Head to your allotted tents for a good night’s sleep amidst nature. Next day, leave for an early morning trek and take lots of memories back.

This camping experience is suitable for all age groups, friends/family/couple, etc.

The Campsite is located at 39 km from Kodai-Munnar road, Poondi village, so you can reach there easily by public or private transport

Black Forest Camping Kodaikanal Itinerary

  • Day 1 - This is how your Day 1 will look like, however you can plan DIY itinerary by coordinating with the campsite manager -

    4:30 PM - 5:30 PM: Check-in at Black Forest Camping Kodaikanal at 4:30 PM and get freshen up followed by the coffee/tea.

    05:30 PM - 07:30 PM : Boating will be there.

    07:30 PM - 09:30 PM : Bonfire, music, and BBQ will be there.

    09:30 PM - 10:30 PM : You can have your dinner, and go back to your respective tents.

  • Day 2 - This is how your Day 2 will look like, however you can plan DIY itinerary by coordinating with the campsite manager -

    07:00 AM - 08:00 AM : Wake up in the morning and get ready for sunrise trek.

    08:00 AM - 09:00 AM : Breakfast would be served to you.

    10:00 AM - You may check out from the campsite

    Far from home in the mids of nature what a great feeling, I and my friends had a wonderful time there, the campsite and the arrangement was wow, The tent's location was perfect which gave good views from it, the leader and the entire staff were supportive and careful... they took care of our needs with perfection...We really enjoyed boating, trekking, and bonfire with nice music...Overall it was a super fun and memorable camping experience in my life... Tents, foods and the service was up to the mark... the lake and the surrounding areas gave us nice pics... trekking was Unforgettable expereince... we warm the night by seating around the campfire with some music and storytellers... Both day and night were completely enjoyable.
