Shubra Palace Overview

Located in the city of Taif in Saudi Arabia is the famous Shubra Palace, which dates back to the year 1800s. Designed in an urban style, the Subhra Palace boasts of an eclectic mix of the Roman and Islamic styles of architecture. In addition to stunning arches and columns, the palace also has Rawasheen, huge doors, windows and high ceilings, along with 150 rooms and two entrances.

During King Faisal's reign, it became the Ministry of Defense and Aviation headquarter, then turned into a museum of heritage and antiquities in 1408 AH.
