Australia Zoo Overview
Located on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, the world-famous Australia Zoo is owned by Terry Irwin, whose wildlife documentary named ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ is responsible for adding the zoo to the list of most fascinating places to visit in Queensland.

The Mount Franklin Crocoseum Stadium hosts crocodile shows in the zoo and about 5000 people can sit in the stadium. Some other famous exhibits of the zoo are Africa, Tiger Temple, Rainforest Aviary, Elephantasia, and Bindi’s Island. You can also enter the walk-through enclosures and feed the wallabies, koalas, and kangaroos, or even get photographed with the animals.
