We had some great moments and of course gained some knowledge out of this wine tour. Thanks to the folks who have organized it well. The guide was very accommodating and noble at what she does. First of all, you will get a chance to learn making of wine from the scratch by way of the guide’s explanation about the process . Since it is off season the grape field was dry but still walking through the factory and spotting the live production is a great feel. The best moment of the tour is that when you enter inside the “Tasting Room “. The Gentleman here in this room gonna surprise you with the methods of drinking wine. I never realized that having wine is an art until I meet this Gentleman :-) You have got a chance to taste about 6 types of wines here. If you really wish to feel little high, right behind this room, you have a fabulous restaurant with some decent dishes along with your choice of wines . Oh ! yah, expense is on you because the restaurant is not part of the package ! The last but not least, you have also got a chance to bring out the wine stompers inside you . Overall, it was a great experience and I think it’s worth visiting this place at least once in your Bangalore life !!! --Jiji

"Amazing is one word for this trip. It's a great place to visit anytime. It's approximately 70kms from Bangalore and takes about 2 hours to reach. Place was easy to recognize. People are very generous and got plethora of information about wine making process. Person who took us through the process of wine making was seasoned, knew every bit about his job and was humorous as well to ensure people are engaged. Best part was wine tasting. You can either go for wines of Sula which are sold outside of India too or their local brand heritage which is sold typically in Southern part of India. We got to taste five brands of Heritage (chempayne, three types of red wines and sparkle wine). We also went to their wineyards. Although there were no grapes when we went in sep but it was worth taking a round. Take a look at some amazing pictures we took"

I had been to this beautiful place on 11-02-2017. It was awesome experience. Starting from entry till the end. started with lunch then followed by wine processing and much awaited vineyard visit. People are humble and polite. Vine tasting is best part since I have tried for the first time, explained from scratch like how to hold a glass, how to taste wine(important thing). Over all: Food : 4/5 Ambience: 4/5 Worth:4/5

"This is a very good one day outing idea for family as well as friends groups. It takes 2 hours from bangalore via nice road.Heritage now taken over by Sula offers a bird's eye view of wine making which is quite a vast subject our guide tells us.The guide is quite informative and quite the charmer with his words. You get to take taste 4 kinds of wine by the end of the session on the package you choose (regular, premium, elite).Thrillopilea offers regular along with the package which can be upgraded on registration with extra cost. The place has amazing food which was quite the delight. We tried lamb chops, fish grill and pasta. All of which was delicious. They also serve wine cocktails. The place is quite nice and quite. One could take a stroll by the wine yard. This place is also quite kid friendly offering trampolines, a small basket ball court and play area. It's half day worth spending place and if your expectation bar isn't high it will make you happy. It could be worth spending more if you have kids with your group let them play in lawn with their friendly dog "brownie". They explain all about wine making process and followed by a wine tasting session. Also let's you walk through their grape farm and take photos. Check with them in advance whether it's season or not if you want to make your photo frames splendid with grapes. It is worth than your usual weekend hangout in Bangalore some malls or movies and if you love short rides.

This was my first wine tasting tour and I had not even a single clue that an activity like this can be so exciting. Learnt a lot about different types of wines and how to differentiate them on the basis of their taste. The vineyards are just picture perfect. don't forget to click pictures as the view of the fields is just so beautiful

Excellent Saturday spent amongst nature knowing about wine & grapes ending with excellent food. We had already booked via Thrillophilia and we reached the place around 12ish. The place is around 2 hrs drive from Bangalore, depending where once stays in Bangalore & the Traffic ;). Easy to locate via Google maps and also huge sign boards on the Mysore- Blore Highway. Its around 2 kms inside from the main road. Good amount of Parking space and once you enter the gates, its a resort like feeling. Walked upto the reception and showed them the online booking confirmation mail and while we waited for our guide explored the spacious lawns & Lunch area, clicking photographs & playing with the resident dog Brownie. Our guide arrived and he was a sea of knowledge and humour. After introducing himself to the group we move towards the wine factory, and he explained different types of wine making process and in between threw in some general knowledge and lot of humour keeping us interested in the tour. Post this we opted to take a stroll through the vast vine yards. Clicked again a lot of pictures here and then moved for the most interesting part the wine tasting part. The guide joined us again and gave us the information of the very basic of how to hold a wine glass to various types of wine and how wine should be tasted and enjoyed rather than just drinking it like a beverage. They gave us some 6 types of wine out 2 which 5 were red and 1 white wine. Now we know even bitter wine if we drink the right way is more delicious than the sweet wine. After the wine tasting it was time for lunch and we decided to have it there itself as it was quite late in the afternoon already and it was truly a wise decision as the food was just wonderful. We ordered for started Nachos with chicken toppings and for the mains pepper chicken with wheat rotis and also grape shake for drinks. One can also choose from the wide variety of wine also from the menu too, but since i had to drive back didn't want to get a hangover. After lunch we spend some more time on the lawns and then we started back for Bangalore. Indeed it was an unexpected fun filled, wonderful, knowledgeable and refreshing tour and trip. This tour can be enjoyed by all age groups and from all walks of life.

I am a travel blogger who loves to visit offbeat places. We recently got a chance to visit Heritage Vineyard. And here's our experience. The Heritage Vineyard lies on the Mysore highway, near Channapattana just 60 KM from Bangalore. The staff working at the Vineyard will explain you everything about the nuances of Wine Tasting. Wine tasting is an art. Right from the way you hold the glass to the moment it touches your lips everything falls in that art. First you hold it, then you swirl it, smell it and the magic takes over. And now you could even the wine ???? Not only you get a chance to walk through the grape fields. But they also take you to the production area. It was like a KT session. Feel free to ask as many questions as possible. These guys are the masters of their business. Apart from the amazing collection of wine, the food menu has delicious offerings which will definitely satiate your taste buds. The right kind of food which goes with the specific wine, the staff will guide you. And yeah, apart from Wine and dine The place is itself serene and provides a wonderful chance to unplug! HERITAGE produces 6 varieties of wines : Cabernet red wine, Shiraz red wine, Chenin Blanc white wine, Twist bubbly wine, Heritage 2000 premium wine and Heritage sweet red wine. Each one has a unique aroma. Taste it and you could even take some of your favorite ones home. Happy Wine Tasting. I just have one more thing to add. Cheers! Last weekend we a group of 3couples had been there for wine trip. Going through the wine making process was extremely awesome. There were skilled guides who cleared all our doubts and took keen interest in explaining things. Though it wasn't the season of grapes , but wine was being prepared from grapes obtained from Bijapur and Nandi hills area. They even explained us the art of tasting wine and we all enjoyed the picturesque location.

It was a much awaited day for us. We wanted to take break off from the work and booked wine tour instantly on Thrillophia during weekday. It was a cloudy day and the bike ride was just awesome. We reached the place just before it started raining. It is very easy to find, both Google and sign boards by the winery displayed all the way through will help you to get there. The Tour was sweet and short. None the less, tasted 5 different Heritage Wines and learned the difference. Too many spots for Photo session. This place has nice interior. Love the lush of green near by the restaurant. Food was decent and employees were humble and friendly. Best place to visit anytime with your loved one's. A Memory that will be cherished forever. A day is not enough if you are nature lover and visited during monsoon. It was perfect for me in every way.

For a wine lover, this place is certainly that one must consider. All this while we brainstorm on getting that perfect wine from the liquor boutique but the experience that you will get here while tasting fresh varieties of wine is something that you cannot get at home. Also, this is a perfect place to go with friends and family, its simply beautiful especially the vineyards are just something that will keep your eyes glued on them

"I had been with my friends to this place.. It's very close to nature and the place is beautiful... Greenery and grape farm is just amazing.. It's a recommended place from my side to all of them who are interested in wine. Unfortunately the time we went the production was stopped so couldn't see the production of wine . Ambience is flawless and non veg dishes are just superb. "

I'm a hard core wine lover. this was my first wine tasting experience in Bangalore. the varieties available is commendable and what I like the most was that they provide you with thorough information about the wines and also how you should actually relish the taste which is something that I've not found that detailed in my other winery tours. Great experience!

The vineyards of Ramanagar host the best wine tours I have ever experienced so far. Not only did I get a chance to taste the wines of the place but also learn the craft of wine-making and its history. Since this is a wine tour, please ensure you do not travel with kids below the age of 10 years and not carry additional alcohol in this tour.

The tour was xtremely awesome for me and our entire group. I would suggest, rather than spending time in the local bars or pubs, one should get indulged in this wine tour. The most important feature is: you can go with a bunch of friends, family members or colleagues and spend the entire day sampling some of the finest wine varieties.
