North Bengal Tour Itinerary

Wake up at 4:00 am in the morning and drive to Tiger hill, trek to the top of the tiger hill and witness a beautiful sunset.
On your way back visit the Batasia loop and Ghoom Monastery.
Reach back to the hotel and have a delicious breakfast, post which you will be taken for a local sightseeing tour.
A visit to Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling Zoo, Tea garden, Tibetan Self Help Refugee Centre and the Tenzing rock.
Head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay as the second day of your North Bengal tour ends here.

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and start your journey to Kalimpong for the third day of your North Bengal tour package.
On your way, visit Peshok Viewpoint, it is the confluence of Teesta and Rangit River.
After reaching Kalimpong, check-in at the hotel and have lunch.
Post lunch, head out for a half day sightseeing tour of Kalimpong.
You will be visiting flower nurseries, where you get to witness innumerable species of flowers and cactus.
Head to Deolo Hills, located at an altitude of 2000 mts offering a scenic view of Kalimpong.
A visit to some famous monasteries like Durpin monastery, Thongsa Gompa, Tharpa Choeling monastery and a few more.
Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, get ready as your North Bengal tour package takes you for a half day excursion to Samsing, Suntalekhola. Located at the eastern fringes of Neora Valley National park, you can indulge in various activities or enjoy sightseeing.
Head out to visit Jhalong, a beautiful valley near Jaldhaka river. You can visit the Jhalong Hydroelectricity project here and then move to Bindu , a small village near the Bhutan border.
After the visit, drive back to Lataguri for dinner and have an overnight stay at the hotel.

Wake up early in the morning and head out for jungle Safari at Chapramari reserve Forest, where you will witness the diversity of Flora and fauna. Elephants, gaurs (i.e. Indian bison), leopards, different types of deers, wild boars etc are common sightings here
After the safari, enjoy a wholesome breakfast and check-out from the hotel to reach Jaldapara.
Reach Jaldapara and go for an afternoon jungle safari at Chilapata forest.
Have an overnight stay at the hotel in Jaldapara.

Darjeeling Himalayan Railway

One of the most popular places to visit in Darjeeling, DHR is approximately a 2 feet narrow gauge train track that covers the distance between New Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling. This 88-km long railway track is best known for its toy train which gushes amid the misty hill side and offers absolutely gorgeous views of the valley.

Victoria Memorial

It is a beautiful White Marble structure which began making in 1906 and was completed by 1921. While it originally got built with the idea of dedicating a memorial to Queen Victoria of Britain, it has now turned into a museum that attracts numerous people due to its stunning architecture and display.

Howrah Bridge

This one tops the list of places to see in Kolkata, probably because it gets so often portrayed in movies. It was constructed in 1943 replacing the Pontoon Bridge and is made of steel. Due to the immense popularity that the bridge has, tourists from far and wide travel to Kolkata just to visit the amazing bridge.

Botanical Garden

Previously known as the Calcutta Botanical Garden, the garden was established in 1786. It is spread over 270 acres of land. The present name of the garden is Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Indian Botanical Garden.

New Town Eco Park

When you’re looking for your leisure day out; the New Town Eco Park spread over 480 acres is one of the best places to visit in Kolkata. Mother Teressa House

Fort William

Fort William is named after King Williams and is one of the most popular places to visit in Kolkata. The site was built in 1696, where the builders used bricks and mortar to make this famous fort. Interestingly, the port has a total of 6 gates, namely; WaterGate, Saint Georges, Treasury Gate, Plassey, and Chowringhee.

Tagore’s House (Joransanko Thakur Bari)

As the name suggests the Tagore’s house is located in Jorasanko in North Kolkata. History has it that the house was where the famous non-European poet, Rabindranath Tagore, was born. Additionally, the place was the shelter for Mr. Tagore until his unfortunate demise in 1941. There’s no better museum to learn the long history of the Tagore family than the house they lived in.
