Built in the 1800s, this stay is a blend of British Colonial & Kumaoni Culture, offering the majestic Himalayan views with lush green forests surrounded by all sides. Carefully restored keeping its original character intact, this stay comprises 2 bedrooms, each with an attached washroom and a spectacular view of the majestic Himalayas.

The villages in and around the wildlife sanctuary offer a glimpse into the lives of the hardy mountain people of Kumaon. The old ways of life have been preserved in these small rural communities. It is like taking a trip back in time. Go on a guided village walk where taste the local cuisine and enjoy the heart-felt the hospitality of Kumaon(Himachali people) while soaking in the customs and rituals peculiar to the region. Let the fresh mountain air fill your lungs as you take in the spectacular views of the beautiful landscape.

At the stay explore the place with a nature walk around the stay and enjoy the beautiful views while spotting the Himalayan birds chirping around. Later, spend the cold evenings by the 1800s fireplace with friends/family.

How to reach:
The stay is in Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary and around 20 km from Almora. A private car or cab would be the best suitable transportation to reach the stay.
