Day 1

Lama Dugh Trek Start Point
  • Wake up to the beautiful sunrise and if you can then smell the freshness of the morning air, then consider yourself lucky.
  • having breakfast, we will start our trek to Lamadugh by visiting Hadimba Temple. Located amidst the snow-covered hills of Manali and gorgeous cedar forests, this beautiful shrine is built on a rock that is believed to be in the image of the goddess Hadimba herself.
  • Later, you will enter the forest area via Nasogi village.
  • The day of this village starts early. Shepherds and cattle herds can be seen leaving for the meadows in the morning.
  • One would find the warmest and most friendly people here.
  • Gradually, you will follow the trails of jungle till Lamadugh, you will have your lunch sitting across one of the most scenic locations.
  • With a heavy heart, we will start our journey back to the base camp and in no time, we will begin our chit-chat session around the warmth of the bonfire.

Know Before You Go for Lamadugh Trek

  • The trek lasts for 7 hours, running from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • The trek starts and ends at Hadimba Temple.
  • Expenses for medical or other emergencies, unforeseen weather conditions, landslides or political unrest are a strict exclusion here.
  • The meal includes bread sandwiches, one banana, a cold drink, an energy bar, and a water bottle.
  • The instructor or guide reserves the right to reject any participant deemed unfit to be part of the trek.
  • Any personal expenses, items of personal nature, or anything not specifically mentioned in the inclusion labels is to be considered an exclusion.
  • Carrying jewellery or other valuables is not advisable.
  • No smoking or consumption of alcohol before or during the activity.
  • Kindly dispose any plastics in an appropriate manner.
  • The trek is of moderate difficulty, suitable for those with prior trekking experience.
  • Carry medicines if necessary.
  • Transportation Charges are not included.
  • Carry essentials like water, snacks, and warm clothing for varying weather conditions.
  • Visitors below 10 years of age are not allowed to participate in this activity.
  • During the trek avoid uncomfortable clothing during the activities (like sarees, etc.).
