About the Activity:

  • Rather, the most celebrated holy place in Delhi, rich with traditional architectural style, age old practices, tombs, shrines and mausoleums is the Durgah of Nizamuddin.
  • 14th century Sufi poet, Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya after whom the durgah has been named is a famous shrine now, welcoming a large number of pilgrims and tourists. 
  • This night trip for one and a half hours will lead you to experience some pleasant soulful Sufi music, Qawalli.
  • Listen to the history of the durgah and the old streets outside from the guide, try some local sweets and snacks from the street shops.
  • The walk starts around 06:30 PM and lasts until 08:00 PM. The holy place recommends every one to wear modest, fully covered dress.
  • This night tour is available only on Thursday till 30th November, 2016.
