My best friends and I undertook a 7 days Vaishno Devi trip from Mumbai. We arrived early in the morning at Katra and from there we went ahead for Vaishno Devi darshan. A trip to Baba Bhaironath and Ardhkuwari temples were really amazing and I am glad that I took this trip after lockdown. After getting down from the Trikuta mountains, we headed to Pahalgam from Katra. Kashmir is truly an offbeat attraction for thrill seekers and for those who wish to get more. We planned an offbeat expedition to the valleys of Kashmir with Thrillophilia. The offbeat getaway took us in its charm and gave us a chance to enjoy the best of nature. We enjoyed the lovely gondola rides as well as shikara boat rides on the lake. The tour guide gave us a complete tour of the notable places. We could meet the locals and relish an authentic Kashmiri lifestyle. Visiting Kashmir during the winters had always been a huge fantasy and with Thrillophilia, I got a nice opportunity. I had visited Kashmir with my friends and we had an amazing winter in the mountains. We enjoyed an overnight stay in the houseboat on Dal Lake, had a wonderful time in the Mughal Gardens, took the Gondola ride at Gulmarg, and enjoyed an excursion to Sonmarg. We also enjoyed many winter sports in Gulmarg and snow biking was my favourite. We also made a lot of good memories, building snowmen and skating across the snow. My parents, being spiritual people, always wanted to visit Vaishno Devi Mandir and a friend of mine suggested booking a tour for them on Thrillophilia.
