  • A honeymoon is the best time of your life, and deserves a grand celebration. There is no better way to celebrate it than to step aboard a flight to one of the most exclusive honeymoon destinations in the world- Europe.

A European honeymoon can be an exciting experience because Europe is full of variety. You can choose to go to some of the most popular places on the continent like Paris, London, Santorini or Amsterdam and celebrate in style.

But you can also visit some of the less visited but no less magnificent destinations that Europe boasts of. Since all the countries are well-connected to each other, travelling in Europe is really enjoyable.

Riding the famous Eurail is an experience in itself not to mention taking the EuroStar from London to Paris. And since Europeans know how to party long and hard, the nightlife around the continent is marvellous.

There are many Europe travel guides out there but a comprehensive, in-depth guide that covers all the essentials in one place is hard to find.

This Europe travel guide tries to gather together all the loose ends and presents a comprehensive picture of Europe, and present it with clarity.

The best of Europe’s travel spots along with the best of its many Michelin Star restaurants and luxury hotels are dealt with in detail in the guide. If you are planning a Europe trip, bookmark this Europe Travel Guide to make planning for the trip easier.

  • Why Honeymoon In Europe?

A European honeymoon is the best gift you can give to your partner. The best part about honeymooning in Europe is that there is a vast variety of places to choose from.

You can visit one specific country or take a multi-country trip. Every country has its own character and spirit but one overwhelming feature you will find all over Europe is the vibrant natural landscape.

Spellbinding natural wonders- from the scenic Swiss Alps to the graceful Norwegian fjords enrich Europe’s landscape. Beaches of all hues and varieties fill the eye with wonder.

And the party scene around the continent adds a tang to any European honeymoon. A European honeymoon will be an experience of a lifetime.

  • Best Time To Visit Europe

  • 01Peak Season

The Peak Season in Europe starts with the summer season and usually lasts from mid-June till August. Europe during this season is jam packed.

Almost everyone seems to be travelling at this time and since schools and universities are in vacation mode, you can expect to come across a lot of families with children and backpackers.

The advantages of visiting Europe in the peak season are many- the weather is optimal for sight-seeing and all facilities are available.

The days are long and the nightlife is wild. But the rush could be a disadvantage since tussling with hordes of people is not fun.

You will have to plan smart if you are going to Europe during the peak season and include some offbeat destinations in your itinerary which will allow you to enjoy yourself in relative peace and solitude. For more information,
Read our guide to summer holidays in Santorini:- Honeymoon In Santorini Travel Guide

     Peak Months: May - August

  • 02Off Season

The Off Season in Europe coincides with the peak winter months from November through March. Snows cover the land and grey mists hang over the cities.

Days are short and even during the day, catching a glimpse of the sun is difficult. But for all its seeming disadvantages- the Off Season can actually be a great time to visit Europe.

Since it is Off Season, you have the advantage of lower flight fares and even accommodation rates are considerably low. The snow does make temperatures drop wildly, but it also beautifies the cities and the countryside covered in soft snow is a breath-taking sight.

And enjoying a hot cup of thick hot chocolate next to a blazing fireplace while it snows outside is an experience to remember.

Europe is also a popular location for snow sports, and this is the best season to enjoy skiing and ice skating. The continent is significantly less crowded, making it much easier to enjoy yourself everywhere you go.

Off Season Months: November to March

Pros of Off Season: Less tourists and less prices for everything

Cons of Off Season: Snow fall will close certain tourist spots
