This was really an awesome trip. We enjoyed a lot. We took premium package and the stays and breakfast buffet was really good. I believe driver is the person who defines how our trip would be, because I have been to other parts of India and I know the issues that happens because of driver. But our driver Shefin was really very knowledgeable and knew everything. He was very polite. We just told him what all we want to cover and he ensured it's completed. God's Own Country it is! Varkala cliff beach views are completely different from any beach experience I had before. Munnar tea estates in the morning mist were just breathtaking and peaceful. Ekdum well-planned itinerary covering so much variety within one state. Family absolutely loved every day. Must do at least once!

The food had plenty of variety and was very fresh at all the hotels we stayed in. The houseboat crew was very skilled and polite, making our stay on the water very comfortable. Spent a lot of time just relaxing by the pool at our Munnar resort, which had a breathtaking view of the valley. The itinerary wasn't rushed at all, which allowed us to actually enjoy the places rather than just ticking them off a list. The drive to Munnar from Kochi was a bit long, but the waterfalls and tea estates on the way made for great photo stops. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the local culture and even took us to a hidden viewpoint. The rooms in Munnar were cozy and had a beautiful view of the valley. We really enjoyed the spice plantation tour in Thekkady. It was a well-organized trip with a good balance of activity and rest.
