The sanctuary being a major ecological continuum from Peechhi to Eravikulam through Anamalai aids the large viable populations of wildlife in kerala. My money spent on this trip was totally worth it . I stayed there for 2 days stay, and discovered beautiful specis of birds including Indian Pitta, Malabar Trogon, Malabar Barbet, Srilankan Frogmouth ,Indian Robin, Blue throated Blue flycatcher , Asian Paradise flycatcher ,Black Baza, Crested Goshawk,Dollor Bird, Asian fairy blue, White bellied woodpecker, flame throated bulbul, Grey headed bulbul ,Brown breasted flycatcher . Wao it was a great feeling.
