Muththathhi

Muththathhi is a river which is located approximately 100 km from Bangalore. One can drive down here or take a bus which leads to the Kanakpura direction.

Beware when driving as the road conditions are very bad and they get worse in the monsoon times when the water is logged in road spots. One needs to carry food from home as there are no restaurants on the way where proper food is available. This place is proper for a day’s picnic as there is nothing much to do here except see the beauty of the place. There is a dam called T Narasipur and Sathanur which are full with waters flowing from the river of Cauvery. Revanasiddheshwara Betta is just 20 km from the river and one can include that in a day’s itinerary. The best time to come here in between the months of January and December.
