- Hike to one of the most challenging monasteries to get to, the Tiger’s Nest (elevation over 10,000 ft.)

About the destination:
Considering the snow-capped peaks that disappear in the clouds, emerald alpine valleys, and magnificent vistas of Himalayas, it is not surprising that Sikkim is bewitchingly magical. Cruise through this Jewel in the North East and turn towards the land of mountains and monasteries. Upon entering the Buddhist Kingdom, you ride into a trance as if traveling back in time and then the clinking of chimes in the monasteries brings you back.

About the trip:
- Kick start this journey of a lifetime from Siliguri, a beautiful city sitting in the foothills of Himalayas and ride north towards the scenic Gangtok. Get the permits and head for Lachung, a quaint little town located at a distance of 118 km, which sure looks easy but is a hefty ride.
- Explore the Zero Point then return to Gangtok as it provides an excellent starting point for the exotic silk route circuit, taking in the sights of India-China border visible from Nathula Pass, Zuluk’s hairpin bends, stunning views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and the beauty of Padamchen.
- After spending such a refreshing week, travel back to Siliguri to begin the quest to Bhutan. Complete all the immigration formalities in Phuentsholing, the India-Bhutan border town and turn towards the capital city Thimphu, then over the Punakha via a small village Gangtey which is dotted with vast swathes of velvety grasslands.
- Later on, depart to the valley town Paro to hike up to the two-hour trek of Tiger’s Nest monastery while taking in the thrill of riding the hilly roads of Dochu La Pass. Then, you ride back to Siliguri while reminiscing the connection you built with the people of all the places you passed through.

Note: Fuel facility is provided only for rented bikes.
