Norway and Finland was the trip we had been planning for years and it was worth every year of waiting. The fjords in Norway are simply incomprehensible in scale. You stand on a viewpoint and try to make sense of the valley below you and your brain just cannot process it. Flam railway journey was one of the most beautiful train rides in the world. Finland silence of a frozen lake, cross-country skiing through birch forests, and then the Aurora Borealis appearing on night four in colours that seemed impossible. The overnight ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm was a genuinely fun experience in itself.

We did a 12-day Scandinavia trip through Thrillophilia covering Norway, Denmark and Sweden. The itinerary was very well structured. Geiranger fjord cruise, Flam Railway through the mountain, Bergen funicular, Copenhagen canal evenings and Stockholm old town in the same trip sounds ambitious but the pacing was right and nothing felt rushed. Our coordinator had chosen hotels that were within walking distance of the main attractions in each city which saved a lot of time. The landscapes were stunning beyond imagination — from glaciers to fjords and picturesque villages. The trip was well-paced, allowing enough time to soak in the beauty without feeling rushed. I especially loved the peaceful environment and the cleanliness everywhere. The northern lights were definitely the highlight, and seeing them live was an emotional experience. Overall, it was a perfect international getaway and I would love to visit again.
